The Frontek ventilated facade system is designed for the external cladding of the facade by fixing it to a metal substructure by means of anchors. This system does not contribute to the stability of the project.
Modern mechanical fixing systems have completely revolutionized the concept of ceramic placement on facades. To support the ceramic coating, Greco Gres presents two fully developed and designed anchoring systems at the Group’s research center. Both systems are very easy to install and differ in the grip mechanism which can be by clamp, Greco Gres FVI Plus, or by horizontal guides, Greco Gres FVI Super-plus.
Ease of installation and speed of installation. Frontek ventilated façade systems stand out for their ease of placement on site when the elements are installed dry using mechanical anchors previously calculated to resist the wind load and the gravitational load.
Great resistance and durability. The system provides stability to the structure and the supporting wall, reducing the possibility of risks of cracks, considerably improving the aesthetics of the facade due to its perfect final finish. By preventing the expansion and contraction of the support, the risk of fractures and cracks is eliminated.
Lightness of the system on the facing. It is one of the lightest and strongest panels on the market. Its honeycomb design with grooves along the sides of greater dimension, allow to lighten the weight while increasing the resistance to impact by working as a lattice against loads.
Replacement of independent tiles. The longitudinal grooves (which, because they are shaped like this before firing, do not imply any aggression) facilitate the grip and the replacement of individual pieces if necessary.
Excellent stability of the ceramic coating, without risk of cracks or detachments. The system provides stability to the structure and the supporting wall, reducing the possibility of risks of cracks, considerably improving the aesthetics of the facade due to its perfect final finish.
Elimination of condensation on the inside of the wall. The temperature difference between the interior air of the chamber and the outside air produces an air flow that is known as the chimney effect. The separations between the tiles also favor the ventilation of the structure, avoiding humidity and the condensation effect.
Protection against the elements: the exterior facades covered with technological ceramics are highly resistant to meteorological agents (ultraviolet radiation, rain or hail and to frost and sudden changes in temperature) and also offer great resistance to nitrate.
Low maintenance. Maintenance tasks are kept to a minimum. It will only be necessary to replace some part in the unlikely event of breakage.
Easy cleaning. Its low porosity prevents stains from fixing, as well as offering unbeatable results against corrosion or deterioration due to pollution.
Aesthetic beauty. The system guarantees the full planimetry of the facade. It offers a wide range of finishes in different colors and different textures that guarantee color stability even in the harshest environmental conditions.
